E-Cell ,SVCE is a entrepreneurial organization run by students under the guidance of EDC. Here at E-Cell paving the right path and guiding the future entrepreneurs in the student community is our sole responsibility. E-Cell helps them to showcase their talents and furnish them with obligatory skills for entrepreneurship. E-Cell wants them to experience industrial problems and align with the real world. Thus, E-Cell conducts seminars, workshops and several events for our students and also beyond, which facilitates network with industrial experts, incubation space, seed funds and lot more opportunities to make a student's entrepreneur dream come true.

An Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) was established in Feb, 2003 with the funding support from National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India for a period of five years. On completion of 5years successfully in Feb, 2008, EDC-SVCE was retained by SVCE Management and the entrepreneurial activities were continued under various schemes of state and central governement on project basis. For the period May, 2011 to May, 2014, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) sanctioned grants to continue the entrepreneurial activities for the benefit of the student community and science and technology persons in this region.

● One Skill Development Programme (SDP) for unemployed youth,
● 6 Technology based Entrepreneurship Development Programme (TEDP)s for S & T persons,
● One Faculty Development Programme (FDP) for faculty members
● With the support of NSTEDB, DST, New Delhi during the period Feb, 2003 to Mar, 2008. EDC-SVCE has successfully completed the maximum sponsorship period provided by DST. SVCE management continued the entrepreneurial activities by retaining the EDC in campus.
● The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Govt. of India has recognized SVCE to establish a Business Incubator in May, 2015. A dedicated working space of 2,500 sq.ft has been earmarked for business incubation, as an extension of entrepreneurial activities. The name EDC-SVCE has been renamed as SVCE-EPIC, incubation center of SVCE and it was inaugurated on 02.08.2015.
(a) Creating awareness on entrepreneurship among S&T persons by conducting Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp.
(b) Preparing S&T persons to acquire entrepreneurial skills and Technical skill through Entrepreneurship / Technology Development Programmes.
(c) Establishing adequate physical infrastructure facilities with hand-holding supports for developing prototype, launching start-ups and housing incubates.

(e) Creating, maintaining and updating of a database about the details of mentors, entrepreneurs, consultants, investors, trainers, researchers, schemes, etc.
1. Support for Entrepreneurial and Managerial Development of SMEs through incubator", scheme by Ministry of MSME, GOI to create an environment and providing hand-hloding support for nurturing new business ideas by setting-up Ten business units over a period of five years.
2. Entrepreneurship Awareness / development programmes, scheme by Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad under the agies of Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.
3. Developing student entrepreneurs, Special scheme of Tamilnadu Co-operative Milk Producers' Federation Limited (AAVIN) initiated by Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute (EDII-TN), Government of Tamilnadu. SVCE-AAVIN was established in Apr, 2013 and is being operated by 5th batch of student entrepreneurs.
4. Pradhan Mantri Yuva Yojana (Entrepreneurship Education & Training), scheme by Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India. The project aims to creating and enabling an eco-system for entrepreneurship promotion among the youth through entrepreneurship educational and training.
5. Pre-incubation Services, a special initiative by Entrepreneurship Promotion & Incubation center(SVCE-EPIC) to facilitate SVCE students for converting their innovative idea into a functional prototype by providing financial assitanceship and technical/business mentorship.
